    Stereo Installed (Big pics!)

After a couple months of spec'ing out what I wanted, and a lot of help from here and Nabisco...its in, done, and works. Here's the final config. :

    HU : Alpine 9830
    w/ Forester Din pocket
Front Components : Diamond Audio M661
Comp. Amp : US Acoustics USB2100
    Sub : Diamond Audio CM3
Sub Amp : US Acoustics USBD600
about 40 sq. feet of Raammat used in doors, trunk lid, and trunk, along w/ 20 sq. feet of 3/8" closed cell insulation.

I put the crossovers up in the dash, one above the dead pedal, one behind the glove box, mounted tweets in the A-pillars, and the amps under the seats, mounted to 1/2" MDF which is vecro'd to the floor. 16 ga. wire to all speakers. Sub is in custom Wagon enclosure from Evolution Auto...he sells them in group buys every once in a while. I ripped out that plastic crap on the doors, cleaned them w/ mineral spirits, applied a layer to the outer door skin, then sealed up the middle panel as best I could, and then added foam on top of it. After listening to just the front speakers I decided not to add any rear fill...sounded perfect as it was, and I don't sit in the back seat of my car, and those who do aren't helping me install this thing...so I have some extra rear speakers now. I removed the stock rear speakers and sealed up over them.

    Now onto the pics

Really? What can you actually fit in there besides a dixie cup? Though definitely a weak cupholder, the one by the vents does work for most stuff, and I think its pretty dope, 'cause you can actually take a CD in/out w/o closing it most of the time.

Where did you get your Sub grill?
I saw some like it on sounddomain.com by OBCON, but it says they're on factory backorder.

I tried ordering a Tsunami fishman 10" grill, but it didn't fit over my JL 10w6v2

I got it from evolution auto on Nabisco....here's his latest group buy :

    http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=484514

I dunno if he has any wagon enclosures still around, but he's listing it for 145 there. With a decent 10" I think its nice and tight.

I have seen it somwhere before, but what kind of pocket is that? Is that legacy pocket you have under the HU?

You may have a turbo. You may even have 227 horses. But if you don't have the control of Subaru AWD, you can't touch this
