    Sub Box Moving

I have 2 12" subs in a custom box but the problem is they keep on sliding around because the carpet in my trunk isn't held down w/ anything. i tried carpet tape and that worked for 2-3 weeks but i did it again and it didn't even work for a day... really frustrating... anyone have any ideas?

Can you bolt down some L-brackets someplace? If not, velcro sometimes works...

I had the same problem..I used a strap i bought at checkers. It works kinda like a belt. Stays nice and tight and nothing moves. I use to use a bungee cord in my old car.

I actually have industrial strenght velcro holding down my sub box...only 1-10" but it works pretty damn good. I just have it stuck to the wood on the bottom of the sub box, and then the stiffer side of the velcro grabs onto the carpet...the way velcro works its very resistant to sliding...its actually a pain to get exactly where I want it though, since it sticks so well. When I take it out, it usually take the carpet with it a bit.
    4 tires...a motor...a couple doors I think...I'd have to check.
