Question HELP!?! Does Autometer GAUGE BEZEL still have PROBLEMS???

I have not seen any recent discussion on the fitment issues/quality of Autometer's "dual instrument gauge bezel". When it first came out there were tons of complaints about color, fitment, quality, and worst of all having to cut gauges to make them fit! I need to order within the next few days and wanted to know if there is still an issue or if its now a V2/ revised model? I plan on using Autometer 2-1/16 gauges btw. Somebody please help me out before I order. Thanks.

I have an autometer bezel, it's hard to install and barely fits, but it DOES fit perfectly once it's in their correctly. You might want to get it painted since it's black.

I used to have one, it fit pretty well in my 04 but it didn't extend all the way back to the clear plastic that covers the instruments. It was impossible to tell unless you were looking for it but it bothered me nonetheless.
