    How to remove factory STi shifter knob

    I ordered a momo shifter. So how do i get the old one off? Are there set screws? I haven't had a chance to inspect it yet. 'lil help?

    simple, just twist it off in a clockwise direction

    For the Momo, you just gonna use the set screws? Or did you get one of those inserts that are slowly making their way onto the market so you can just screw the whole knob on?

    Those Momos are very nice, but I was afraid of using the set screws and grinding little holes into my shifter, so I went with the Prodrive (got in today! and it looks pretty sweet as well) that just screws into place like the OEM one.

    I love it, shifts are shorter and you dont tatto STi into your hand on hot days
