also, just curious if you guys think i should move my EDFC from where it is now (pic) to the little pocket on the left hand side under neath the steering wheel. I think it will fit, just not sure if it would be better there or where it is now. What do you guys think?

Do you have to look at your turbo timer at all? I would suggest just hiding it away

One word of warning about that "little pocket on the left hand side under neath the steering wheel". It's the cover for the interior fuse box and it has to be removable to service them. I accidentally blew the radio fuse installing my head unit.

Just wanted to make sure that less knowledgeable people didn't hard mount a component and / or not leave enough wire to have easily access to the fuses. FYI, I'm the engineer at my company who is the backstop for our excellent customer service people. You would not believe the weird stuff people do...

On a personal note I do know how to shoot myself in the foot. I installed an EGT in my old inline 4 15 years ago and put the 4 thermocouples in a nice vertical position in the headers. Looked good. Braided stainless steel leads and all. It totally blocked the mounting nuts so I could not use a socket and ratchet to remove the headers. Turned a 20 minute job into an hour PITA. If I had just mounted the probes at an angle...
