Amplifier installation location

I am going to upgrade the speakers all the way around and I want to buy a multi-channel amp for all 4 but I'm not sure where I can put it. I would like to put it in the trunk but how would I run the speaker wires in the other direction?

I would try and put it underneath the front passenger seat. I think some people have had success by doing that.

Yep Both my amps are under the front seats. Sub under the driver side and front components under the passenger side.

Won't that get wet underneath the seat? Do you bolt it to the floor also?

I mounted my amp under the drivers seat on a piece of 3/4 mdf to keep it off the floor. I was just able to sqeeze a 4 channel amp under there and I don't have any heat problems

I have never experienced any water issues, but I haven't tried to tackle any lakes or bogs lately either

I use self tapping screws to mount the amps. You can put nylon spacer sleeves around the screws if you want to raise the amps up off the floor board a bit. You can find the spacers at Ace or Home Depot.
