    New Speakers

Hey guys, I'm not much with car audio stuff, but I couldn't take the crappy stock speakers anymore, and they certainly weren't doing my Alpine 9811 justice, so I decided it was time for some new fronts. I found a great deal ($110) on some Boston Acoustic FS60 components, and they'll be installed in 1 week. Does anyone have any experience with these speakers; did I make a good (though somewhat uninformed!) choice?

I'll certainly post a full review when they go in!

    -Michael

    Thumbs up

Boston's are very good. My buddy had some 3.5" on the dash of his Audi 4000S back in high school. Loud and clear.

Those should be pretty good, quite a bit better than stock at least.

Very glad to hear that I made a decent choice! I'm sick of doing things wrong the first time only to change out later (ex. Autometer for Greddys....)

I can't wait for the bostons to go in!
