how do you get pics to appear inline? they only show up as links

just click on the image tab.
copy the info under location on the properties menu of the picture
paste it onto the window that pops out after clicking the image tab.
    Then your home free.

I just got some V8 JDM sti seats which are also narrow, not sure if they are the same as the Spec C seats, but they are narrower that the USDM sti seats.

I'm 5.9 and weight about 230lbs...38 inch waist, and I LOVE these seats. No problems fitting at all.

Yeah, the USDM 04/05 WRX/STI seats are wider then even the USDM 02/03 WRX seats. The JDM 02/03/04/05 WRX/STI seats are all narrower and have more support up high around your sholders. Even though it looks like the USDM 04/05 WRX/STI seats have shoulder support its not nearly as good as the JDM ones. The order of how well the seats hold you in goes like this.

    JDM WRX/STI 02-05 > USDM WRX 02/03 > USDM WRX/STI 04/05

It seams Americans got even fatter in 04 and 05, haha.

    eh

im by no means a 'fat american' but at 6'2'' and 200 i fit great into my 05sti stock seats, much better than into the narrower models that ive tried. the american version fits my broad shoulders alot better while not squeezing in my thighs (im in decent shape, just a lil beer belly :P -or should i say buddha belly)
whatever works for you is great, but those smaller seats are simply too small.
so if your a big boy like me, get the american version
    my 2 cents
    05 sti!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just did a search about seats because the stock STi seats aren't supportive at all during hard driving.
I'm 6'1" 200lbs w/ a 34-36 waist in good shape and during my last track day at BeaveRun racetrack in western PA, i ended up securing myself in position by mounting my left knee on the door panel during hard right hand turns. Even during everyday driving with an enthusiatic turn here and there, you slide around. I'm now in the market for some JDM seats. These seats(USDM) are good for people who cruise, not drive.

The V7 type RA spec C seats are also lighter than the standard V7 seats. I'm getting these seats-- spec c, front, rear, doorcards, and window cranks- lighter windows. Good junk.

I believe the JDM V8 STI and the V8 Spec C use the same seats.

Do you happen to have any weights?

I have 4 sets of V8 seats.. I'll weigh them and compare.
