1 still need help! Greddy turbo timer install

I'm trying to install this in my friends 02' WRX. I read all the directions at the "swagmonkey" site or whatever it is called. This is where I stand:

The 12V power and IGN wires at the blue ignition harness have been taped into and wires from them have been ran to the harness of the Greddy timer. Originally I had taped into and hooked up the ACC wire, but later I saw in the "swagmonkey" directions to not use this lead. Aside from that black wire is grounded and the brown wire is spliced into the pink wire at the e-brake. The car has a factory alarm system and I followed those directions as well. I cut the dark green wire/black stripe near the fuse box location. I also cut the grey wire at the factory alarm module near the e-brake. The directions say to run a wire from the ACC lead at the ignition junction to each of these wires...which I did. I connected the wires from the ACC to the module side at each location and taped off the other end. now, the timer will power on, but as soon as the key is taken out it just shuts off. In addition, the factory alarm will not arm at all.
I read the Greddy instruction and on the back of the unit is a switch to go between ACC or IGN modes of input. I have tried using both with the same results.

What the heck am I missing here. I read somewhere there is a excellent tutorial on but that page will not load. Is there such a place? Or did the person just say .com instead of .net mistakenly?

Any help from someone using this timer with a WRX that has a factory alarm would be greatly appreciated.
