shoot , I'd hit it at current age, on roof of the car, with cousin driving , neighbor and town priest in the back seat, and that kid from "N.Korea" riding shotgun.
ya me and my buddies figured it out last night, all the accesoriors i paid extra for are hooked up, it is sweet, i put it in the fuse box that is beside the drivers left knee, i can open and close it so no one knows its there!!!
then it snowed last night and i couldn't really figure out the stuff i wantedto find out so i went and had some fun in a parking lot with the awd lmao,, fun fun.
That is why turbo timers are useless. That sucks bro.Originally posted by BLaKWrX
well one time when i parked my car, I went back like 20 minutes later and the timer froze and the car was still running. This has only happened once to me.
what a stupid thing to say. analagous to that would be a person buying a wrx, having a hub fall off, and then calling all wrx's useless. one defect does not define an entire product line.Originally posted by high on 02C

blitz makes good stuff. my dtt dc's boost gauge is dead accurate and costs a LOT less than any analog gauge. it has peak/hold/warn built in, as well as both a preset countdown and a boost (or time, depending on how you set it) sensitive countdown.
cheap insurance. i drive my car far too hard to not let it idle, and i don't usually have the time to sit there waiting in it. it's a matter of convenience. at 120 bucks for a full-featured boost gauge and turbo timer i couldn't pass it up.

I agree about the features. An electronic boost gauge is easily worth that much money, and I was thinking of getting that unit to monitor boost myself frankly.Originally posted by jsmonet

I can see the convenience, but I do not know of any information documenting a need for a turbo timer with a water-cooled Mitsubishi turbo in the 13g or 14b family, and only hearsay for the larger, clipped 16g stuff. The no-water 18g+ stuff is another story.cheap insurance. i drive my car far too hard to not let it idle, and i don't usually have the time to sit there waiting in it. it's a matter of convenience.
Did you use the HKS harness with that Blitz unit or? Plug and play with the harness or any problems?

I love my mid 90's stuffIf you don't need all the cool (and useful) features of the DTT, then something simple can be very nice to have. Plus it looks cool I think!
