This is a discussion on 60mm and Autometer pod within the Interior Mods forums, part of the Tech & Modifying & General Repairs category; Has anyone on here tried to put a 60mm autometer gauge in the a-pillar pod. I screwed up my order ...
Has anyone on here tried to put a 60mm autometer gauge in the a-pillar pod. I screwed up my order and got the 60mm instead of the 52mm, is it possible to use the dremel to take some of the material off of the lip of the pod to fit the 60mm in?? If not I guess I will have a 60mm Ultra-light boost gauge for sale shortly.

VividRacing just came out with a dual-60mm gauge pod. However the only picture he has is a 200px thumbnail (very lame). I don't know of anyone who has tried it yet. The price is $70 I believe.

wow thats terrible - 60mm gauges on your a-pillar would be blinding - the 52mms are a perfect fit IMO - good visibility, and i don't have to squint my eyes to read the numbers. putting 60mms on your apillar...that would look awkward i'd think, and it would start to get in your way- the 60mm gaugepod that goes in place of the clock, however, looks much better

I didn't want the 60mm, the EGT gauge I got is 52mm. I think that the 60mm boost gauge in the lowest pod would not look bad, but if I can not make it fit perfectly, then I am going to sell the 60mm and get the same thing in 52mm. I guess I'll have to wait and see when the stuff comes in.
But those Apex EL series gauges look so nice. Wish they made 52mm versions!Originally posted by Penguinking
