    Opinions on leather

    This was influenced by swipe's post about leather as i have been thing about it for a while.

    What do you guys think about leather?

    I like it, just not worth the money to me. If i wanted leather I would have got a bmw

    Leather is nice, but IMHO, I would put that money towards wheels.

    Bah!

    The leather won't "hug" you as much when taking corners hard. In my Accord, I would slide a bit to the sides when taking corners quickly. Sure the seats were not designed like the wrx seats, but even so they will be a bit slick.

    I have leather and am thinking about Recaros since I got to sit in someones Rex( ) Sat. I aotox'd a few times and couldn't stand it. My butt would rest against the door during turns. Awesome though for daily driving.

    edit- I got leather for $1k when I bought my car(sent out) w/ a 36k mi warranty. Waste of money now I sat in real seats.

    thats another thing i considered about it, the slid factor. but we dont turn much in FL so its not as big of an issue for me as it is for others. But leather is also a lot hotter in this fl heat.

    I had plans to get leather sooner rather than later, but my desire for a VF34 overrode it. So longterm, I'll probably be getting it, but it's probably a year or so off.
