    Its for my alarm.

Talk about back from the dead. Anyway we can move this to Tutorial instead of in this forum. Wow 1250 on the odometer, not anymore.

Is the gauge able to dim?

Also, if I were you I would place the sendor in a different location. On the battery post would be inconvenient if you need to remove it.

The best place to place it is on the firewall of the driver's side. There are two push screws there, remove one, they are placed in threaded holes. Find a bolt that threads in fine and place the sendor there. It's away from heat and/or any interference and no one will notice it.

Well its been there for 2 and a half years and I have no problems with that location. Removing it when I have to remove the batter is nothing, just unbolt the battery and move the sendor to the side.

    Gauge does not dim.

So with the autometer pod is there a gap between the rear of the pods and the clear plastic covering the stock guages? or does it fit completly snug against the clear plastic.

Cause i have on and its not the autometer one, and i have two autometer guages in it but does not fit as flush as the stock one did.
