    installing footwell neons

    I'm thinking about isntallking some footwell neons into my car, how would i get the wiring from the inside of my car to the battery under the hood?

    I'm not sure how neons work, but I don't think it's necessary to get to the battery. You can tap into some power wire. Anywho, if you wanna get to the engine bay from the inside. There's a rubber gromet behind the brake/clutch pedal that'll lead to the engine bay. On the passenger side, there's a hose type thing that leads to the bay as well...it should be right above the area where the ECU is.

    No need to run neon straight to the battery, they don't draw very much power. IMO, your best option is to tap into the wires for the 12v power socket (beside the ashtray). It's rated at 10 amps (more that enough for neon) and is only on when the key is in the ACC or ON position.

    And you gotta get the neons that can pulsate to the music. I have one of those in the Buick, but I have not used it in awhile, lol.

    I have no experience with wiring it to the mirrors, buti think its pretty simple to go buy a switch and do it that way.
