    Clifford RSX3.5 or Compustar?

I've been shopping around for a good car alarm for my Rex that has a remote start as well and have it narrowed down to these two. I can get either installed for $500, so the price doesn't make or break either one. Anyway, I think I like the remote on the clifford a bit better, but I'm wondering if anyone has a reccomendation as to which route I should go. Does either system have any major downfall? Thanks.

A friend of mine loves his Compustar. I'm gonna get the top model Compustar once I get a WRX I think. I'm not sure about the range on the Clifford, but the range on the Compustar is quite impressive.
