    Post DEFI-ed my budget

Well, here it is DEFI BF SERIES gauges with V2 control unit

    EGT
    OIL TEMP
    OIL PRES

with unpainted DEFI triple gauge pod. All and all it cost me an arm and a leg, but well worth it I think.

One question: What color do I paint the pod with to match my dash?

Now how easy is it to install those gauges?

I plan on having all defi gauges as well along with that control unit that you also have! My main concern is ease of installing?

    Thanks,
    -Nigel

Installation is like any other gauge, whats special about defi is that the design of this system allows each of the gauges to be attached to the main control unit with a single "daisy chain" wiring system.

The system is also designed to allow all other sensors to be attached to the control unit, so that the gauges can be mounted separately without the need for multiple tubing or wiring to each of the gauges. Gauges that can be attached to the set include manifold pressure, oil pressure, water pressure, oil temperature, fuel pressure, exhaust gas temperature and tachometer gauges.

They're hella expensive, but well worth it. Japanese precision and quality.

Greatest way to waste money on the WRX, DEFI!!!!

I love them to death, and want them so bad, but I will stick with my $275 3 guage Autometer setup

I'm gonna get some Defi gauges I think. It'll be nice to have some quality guages instead of this piece of sh*t autometer.

Nexus, I want a full report when you complete the install plz. I prolly wont get around installing till Jan. cause I'am having a hell of a time painting the pod. For some reason the paint i'm using is not sticking to the plastic so I just dumped it with my grandpa and told him to do it for me (Grandpa's are good with that spray painting stuff), So anyhow, any tips you can provide with the install will make my life alot easier when it's my turn to suffer the install process

    Thx
    J
