60mm Gauge pod that doesn't look stupid

I'd like to see a gauge pod that mimics the shape of the hood scoop.
That triple-ripple look just doesn't match with anything in the car.

Here's mine...the one you can get from AllSubaru. I think it looks better than the Defi, but it costs the same, it doesn't come with clips to secure it, AND you have to drill your own holes for your gauges with a hole saw. I'm thinking about switching to a Defi pod once I decide on what other gauge to get. Those E-Gauges ones look sweet but since I know nothing about the company...*shrug*

I'm gunna get EGT, Oil press, and oil temp. All in 45mm and just get stock gaugepod. Then I'm gunna get the omori boost gauge (45mm) later down the line and replace it with my oem boost gauge.

What do people think of putting a gauge in the drivers AC vent next to the door? I like the stealth look of it but i am concerned about visablity. I kinda want something that is not as noticable but i am putting in a MattJK screen where my headunit used to go so it is going in the OEM pod thingy on the dash so what are other locations? What about steering column mounts? Thanx
