i have jl xr 6.5's in front and rear and im happy with them. they will definitely need to be amplified as will the bostons, and the xr's wont fit the stock panel. i love their speakers and their subs...but unlike most people, im not too impressed with their amps.
You dont like JL amps? I'm currious why. The only amp I've had was the JL 500/5 and as far as I know it was awesome...Originally posted by ervv173

i could have just got a weak one, so i wont say that they arent quality. but my 300/4 was toast after a few months of pretty light use with the 4 xr's. even if it had stayed working though, i would still feel that they arent a great value for the price.
