I also have condensation in my egt gauge. I'm considering pulling the cover and attempting to reseal. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I've recently installed my Blitz BLM boost and EGT gauges. The EGT gauge isn't even hooked up yet, and it already has condensation inside of it. What should I do? Can I get rid of it somehow?

Finally! A response...eventhough it's a month laterI don't think I'm going to reseal it. It has only happened twice when my windows were down and it was humid outside. On such days, I'll just keep the window up
Let me know what you end up doing and how it works out for ya

Mine happens almost every morning so it's gotten to the point where I have to try something. Winter is coming on and I don't need the needle freezing in place.
Well, you're in a totally different situation. Maybe you should try and reseal it. Before you do that though, maybe you could try to have it replaced...maybe?Originally posted by dddnuts

I noticed the same thing in both of my BLMs, also on a cold morning. It eventually went away but it annoyed the hell out of me. Everything seems as sealed as possible...![]()

I pullled mine heated them extremely lightly with a heat gun and put two clamps on either side for about 10 minutes. So far so good. No condensation in the last 2 days.
