    Stock CD Changer, aftermarket speakers?

I tried searching, but I can't find the right criteria to search for, so I'll just ask.

If you put high quality aftermarket speakers in the WRX and attach them to the stock CD changer headunit, will the sound be as good as my VW's stereo which was my Alpine 9813 connected to factory speakers? Or is it the equivilent of having Infinity components, but having a Jensen tape deck? I like the look and ease of use of the 6 disc changer, but all I've heard is bad news about the speakers. It should be noted that I don't have my Rex yet but will in the next week or so and have only had limited access to listening to the stock set-up.

Thanks for any help to a sone to be Subaru owner.

yeah the speakers are garbage...i got some new speakers and threw them in there...some pioneers, and it sounds a ton better then stock, but if i put in a new deck i know it would sound a lot better then that. the sound still distorts a lot at high sound levels

    hhmmmm........

Sell my Alpine 7813, amp and sub to help raise a down payment, or keep it and use it. Great deck, and I can hook up my portable DVD up to it for sound to the car speakers., but it's not a changer. Oh well, more stuff to thin about.
