    Alternator options? Is mine dying?

Think mine may be going out, I get a slight flicker in my heads when I let of the throttle, and sometimes at idle. The battery is still good checked the alt and was putting out like 13.8 -13.9 whatever that means. Guy said it shoudl be liek 14.2

So what are my options if I need to replace it?

i also though about chanign my groudn wires I hear there are 2 headlight grounds.

Would putting a deep cycle battery(ie Optima ) in help?

This is a very vague question. Do you have aftermarket electronics in the car? Underdrive pullies? Extremely hot/cold climate?

All these will be a factor in selecting an alternator, or how your will normally act. BTW, 13.8-13.9V is normal for this car.
