    Blue dash light replacement

Ok, I successfully replaced my stereo and HVAC lights with blue LEDs but I wasn't so successful with the instrument cluster (search not too useful)...

My tach and speedometer are lit up ok but I discovered today that I can't see the needles at all when its dark out...kinda useless like that.

Also, I have bright spots when I replace the odometer light and in the fuel/temp gauge region.

I used the radio shack led + resistor approach. Has anyone used an alternative with better results? I don't want to use the reverse indiglo faces because I don't like the white color during the day.

    Any ideas?

Yes, but not because I want to look like a VW...I just don't want the plain old green any more.

I just moved to this area, and it seems like there isn't much to do except fu*k around with your car...

Check the mid-atlantic section from time to time. There was a meet up near Mountain Creek over the weekend, about 1/2 hour from Dover.
