    My Basslink

well, yesterday being saturday, i decided to put in the Basslink. And well, the night before that being Friday night, i got pretty wasted. i thought i was gonna sleep it off, but come 11 am, i was still pretty tore. BUT, i performed under pressure of 95 degree heat, a 5hitload of humidity, and the overwhelming urge to spew up jaeger and coors any minute, I managed to get all the wiring, all the proper screws drilled and mounted, and all the pieces back togetther again, and i must say, this thing is PRETTY DAMM NICE. for $200, and next to no space lost, this little guy pounds pretty hard. i highly recommend it to anyone looking to beef up their low end considerably. i set the Xover to 120 Hz, and all the bass i'm getting from it is VERY clean, and yes, it can hit deep and loud. not trunk rattling loud by any means, you can HARDLY hear it outside the car, but from the inside, it sounds just about perfect. Great product Infinity. just my $.02

Cool. My nephew (yes, odd situation but he's 17) just got two Infinity Reference subs to put in his cavalier. He's getting a 700W Bazooka amp to power the two subs on a bridged channel. I'm looking forward to helping him with the install. What's the power on the Basslink?

basslink is only 200 watts RMS. I was really skeptical that this would be satisfactory for me, being in a sealed trunk, and me coming from an 1100 watt powered RF 15" in my CL. but i'm actually very impressed with it. have fun with the install

I am very impressed with the power of my Basslink for it's size and price. This is comming from a guy who used to run to 2 15" Kicker XPL's

check out ebay, type in Basslink, and you should easily find them around 200$ Crookfield sells them for $400, so it's a pretty good price i think. this thing is pretty small, maybe 1'X1'X8", weighs about 10-15 lbs. i'll post pics when i take them, soon.

    Rex,

i'm not too familiar with stereo installs and had a few questions. which diagram in the instructions did you use to install it? and will i need anything other than what it came with to install?

    thanks,

    andrew
