Help ! ! ! Can Anyone Tell Me About This Short Shifter?

I NEED A VERY SHORT SHIFTER, THE COBB AND B&M ARE WAY TOO LONG, I NEED THIS ONE OR SOMETHING AS SHORT AS THIS!

ANY INPUT WOULD BE AWESOME. VENDORS ! IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS PLEASE TELL ME OR IF YOU KNOW WHAT TYPE OF PRODUCT THIS IS WOULD BE AWSOME. I NEED THIS SHIFTER.

I ALREADY HAVE THE MOMO SHIFT KNOB AND THE HANDBRAKE BUT IT SUCKS BECAUSE I STILL HAVE THE STOCK SHIFTER AND I WONT SETTLE FOR ANYTHING TALLER THAN THIS ONE.

Many of us have had good results with the Kartboy shifter and typing with caps lock off.

That looks like an STi shifter with a Momo knob. Mine looks like that except I have the Perrin knob.

My advice is to stay away from the aftermarket shift levers. I could never prove it, but besides making the shifting too notchy, I'd bet they damage synchros.

hey thanks for the input guys, but i have a question for mr.x, you said something about shift levers messing with your synchros, what exactly did you mean by that? and if putting aftermarket shifters is such a bad idea how come so many people have them and say its a good modification. plus it looks a whole lot better than that gigantic stock shifter i have. but if theres a big chance it will mess with my "synchros" i guess i can stay away from them or just get a slightly larger short shifter.

i looked at the kartboy and i liked what i saw. thanks.

I have the "OEM" STi short shifter linkage, I replaced the STi stick with a shorter Kartboy stick and I run a Momo knob and mine looks like that, I mean it IS that low I love it, I would highly recommend it to anyone! I don't buy the theory of it messing up your syncros.

Only thing is if you order the KB shifter stick and you have the STi linkage, make sure you tell them that! Because it takes a different stick than the Stock WRX shifter!

HEY to all, and Mister X looks like u know about shifter. I got my b and m short shifter inhstalled a few days ago and it si very ahrd and rough to shift. The guy said it needs to soften up and to be worked in. Whats the deal. The manual says its suppsoed to be smooth right off the abt. Should I bring it back? Let me know.

the sti short shifter doesnt reduce stick height at all. the throws are the only things that are shorter with the sti. correct me if im wrong.
