    Amp 12V trigger

Help - all you audio guru's.
I am planning on using the OEM headunit with an aftermarket amp (plus replace door speakers and add sub).
What can I use for a 12V trigger for my amp?
    Thanks!

I tapped the remote off of the clock power wire.

I tapped my radar and my amp off the cig lighter feed. You can do it by loosening the climate controls and just having someone lift them up so you can get to the wires.

To turn it on, yes. But certainly run the power cable directly to the battery.

Yes, I was just looking for info on the remote "on". (I have 4 ga. running to the battery and ground from 4x50 rms amp)

Ok, good. It seems obvious enough, but you never can tell. I didn't want your next post to be "So I set my car on fire."
