    interior knock

Has anyone experienced a knocking sound coming from the pillar between the doors? It seems to occur as the car accelerates or decelerates. It also occurs when bumps are hit. I thought it might be the seatbelt assembly but now I'm thinking something may be wrong with the side impact sensor. Any help would be appreciated as I don't think the dealer will help me with this.

My car has the same sound from both B-pillars. The best guess I can come up with for the source is the pretensioner

It can be annoying at times but hasn't given me enough trouble to find a solution yet. Keep us posted if you learn what the noise is from.

    BTW-Welcome to the board!
