I got the Defi BF boost, egt, and oil temp. I am very happy with them. They are easy to read and look cool when they are off.

Heres a pic with the gauges off, but the flash lighting them up:

How tall is that gauge pod? The Defi pod always looks to me like a small cave in pictures...

The top of the pod is probably 4 inches high, and sticks out about 2 inches from where the gauges are. The hood is nice because it eliminates reflections on the windshield, and it shades the gauges during the day.

Here's a nother pic showing a side angle so you can get an idea how the hood looks.

    Hot_Dog - they look sweet.

I'm going to go with Defi for my gauges, but am leaning towards the A-pillar style. Is that possible with Defi? I've looked on around, more so on nasioc and didn't see anyone with that style.

Also, what color are your gauges with your lights on? http://www.defi-shop.com/product/sg/sg_top.htm is the link, at the bottom you can click 'start' and see what I mean. They have them going from a white backround and when illuminated, they look very similiar to the stock dash colors - look's phat. It's exactly what i'm looking for except i'd like the black-backround, if it's possible.

Here is another link for a similar pic - http://www.defi-shop.com/product/dl/images/ind.jpg is 1 pic

Lastly, where did you purchase them and how much?

Gruppe-s seems to have the best prices (better than the last NASIOC group buy at any rate!)

I found this install for Defi's that I really like - am going to replicate with my car. Essentially the provided Defi mount is fed dtrough small cuts in the pillar trim and mounted to an extra piece of metal behind the the trim. Very clean look.

The pic is not great - but the guy doesn't have a better camera.

Thanks for the pics as well auss.

That looks great. I'd almost like to replicate it myself if possible.

They come with the cup that you see in those A-piller photos. Or if you want, you can get some 60mm A-piller pods and put them in.

At night (and day), the gauges are on a black background, white letters, and red needles. Check out the Defi-Link Meter BF's on this page: http://www.defi-shop.com/product/dl/dl_top.htm

Lastly, I got them from Dan at godspeed. It was $900 for the pod, control unit, and the 3 gauges. He also painted the pod, provided a fitting for the oil temp, and a bung for the EGT. But I'm sure he'll sell the gauges without the pod...contact him and see what he can do.

Well they have a-pillars - but no one makes an a-pillar pod that fits the wagon. The a-pillar is a little longer than the sedan.

    Defi Gauges/Pod

Hot Dog - How much did you pay for that setup for all three gauges and the Pod? Also, In the pictures, is that painted to match interior, or unpainted as it comes from Defi?
    It looks great...

    Thanks, Andy
