I did the STi shift trim myself. I figured while I had the console out for the turbo timer, I might as well do it all at one time.

    Turbo timer

Aem man, nice! I have a couple q's about the turbo timer. I am looking at getting one and I think you just swayed me into getting the Apexi.

    Do you like it?
Did the piece next to the cupholder come out easily?
How hard was it to move the wire from the side of the timer to the back?

    Thanks

SpeedRacerWRX02: Yes, those are custom door panels. The leather shop put everything in the way I wanted it. I'm sure there are kits, but I didn't want to fool with the interior at all.

xothemic: The Apexi TT works great. I got the HKS wiring harness with it so everything was plug and play. I spliced into the ebrake (pink) wire and I also spliced into the ECU for the O2 and A/F readings. It works perfectly. There are two screws that you take out once you open the cup holder. After that, the whole thing just pops out. It's very easy. I just drilled a hole in the left side of it and ran the TT wire through the hole. Moving the wire for the TT is a bit more tricky. I took the thing apart, drilled a hole in the back of it, ran the wire out the back, put it back together, and then used some bondo to cover up the hole on the right side of it. I let that dry and then sanded it down until it was smooth. I used Testers silver model paint to paint over it because it matched up perfectly. I did all kinda searches to find install help with it. There are a bunch out there. Good luck.

    Thanks for the input guys.

nice!!! theres nothing like the feeling of leather....I bought a leahter kit for my altima a few years back and spent 7 hours in 2 days with a friend putting it in. I'd say its very time-consuming but its not as hard to do as a lot of people think. Just make sure you let a shop do ur door panels though.
