guage and shift light install??

I'm gonna put a boost guage and a shift light in my car on the A-pillar, in a double pod mount.

First question, looking at a VDO guage says something like 6 1/3in or SOMETHING like that, will those things fit in either the 52 or 60mm pods?

Second, how is the install on a boost guage and shift light. Im doing the proform shift light, and probably a VDO or autometer boost guage? I havent messed around with vacuum lines in a trubo car before, is it pretty basic?

the boost gauge is easy..just tap into any vac line running off the manifold..make sure you dont crack anything though!
