    Short Throw Height

    Ive got the stock STi short throw. Do you guys think i could shorten the height of it? maybe saw it off or something? hehe.

    take a recip saw to it.

    Then you need a new knob (such as a MOMO one)...or find out the thread size on the OE knob and get a die to thread the rod.

    Don't cut it, you'll regret it. The STi shifter is nice. If you want to do anything to improve it, get hardened lower shift bushings.
