    Question Odometer mod...tenths to hundredths?

I found out a couple a weeks ago during a SCCA TSD rally that ....

    1) my odo is not terribly accurate....maybe even off by 1/10 of a mile over 10 miles. (probably covered under warranty)

    2) that I really need a trip odo readout in hundredths of a mile.

Not wanting to spend big $ on fancy rally computers and having to enter the equipped class, I am looking for an alternate solution.

So I wonder if there is a way to display / reprogram the trip odo in hundredths of a mile? Must be a hack somewhere! Anyone?

I dunno, I think they lock up all that odometer stuff pretty well. Good luck on the conversion, but my guess is that it can't be done without some CRAZY modifications. I could be wrong though, good luck again.
