    Kill Switch

I am finally starting to do some serious performance mods to my car now and i am becoming more and more worried about getting the car stolen...

I don't really have faith in car alarms because people don't pay attention to them. Lojack is crap because you need to get your car stolen FIRST to have it work....

I was thinking about installing a kill switch in the car and using it when I am travelling or parking in a place that I am not comfortable with.

Has anyone installed this in their rex?

Twisty Monster - 335 ft/lb of torque @ 3600 rpm on a stock turbo. Is that possible? Yes it is.

I personally like the UTEC security feature. I don;t have my UTEC yet, but I can imagine a lot of "creative" places to hide that small scroll button. And since the wiring is stealth and different from most cars out there, I doubt the average thief would know why the car won't start.

If I got it, I wouldn't place the control next to the cruise control...that's for sure.

Just be creative on where you hide the controls...that alone will thwart most theives.
