    Custom Boost Gauge installation

Well, working at Tweeter sure has its benefits. One of my installers tonight decided to help me install my gauge and went a little crazy with it. I was just going to mount it up on the dash board but we decided because the color of the trim on the A'pexi gauges matches almost identical to the trim around the vents that we should mount it in there. Well, here is the finished product. It looks stock!

Also, here are some pics of my new Alpine CDA-9815 H/U.

Here's my setup. It's an autometer ultralite gauge. This has been my setup for about a year.

nope, we blocked off the a/c vent. No heat is going to the gauge.

sorry tim, i now re read my post, doesnt it make it harder to cool the car down after being outside in the hot sun. basically make the ac less effective?

well, considering I live in MA and its really not hot yet, I have no idea. What we are thinking about doing is re-routing the piping. But it's my car, so all the vents are pointed towards me If the passengers are hot, open the window

Ha, its funny that ppl are blown away by this install...have you guys even seen the interior of a Supra? Its got a 60mm air vent and 2 52mm control knobs...not to mention the 2x "HKS electronic unit" sized climate control spaces. Im pretty sure the designers thought of this as they built the WRX.

I know its cool and it gets a lot of attention. But I am just curious why people reply to threads when all they do is just put people down.
