    Question Sub Enclosure

I have just purchased an Alpine 10" R series sub and a Kenwood 250Watt RMS amp... but I need a box to put the sub in.

I don't want to spend a lot on the box. I've already spent too much on my audio, and I just want something simple.

Will someone please tell me what I should get, and where I should get it from

The specs on the sub call for 0.5-0.8cf of air-space.

    Thanks in advance.

    -Spencer

With my old car...I had 2x12" 1000W Double magnet subs. My enclosure was +1cf/side, but I got the box cheap. It was a 3/4 width of whatever type of wood and it sounded good...

Go ON EBAY ! I got it cheap. But do some research first...

    Just build it...

Go to the lumber store and get the materials, cut it... and then you good to go. It's not that hard. I've built many different styles of boxes.

If you want a design, talk to me. All you need is a radial-saw, a drill, a saber-saw, screws, caulk, and some time. Not difficult at all.

E-mail me if you have any ?'s.

    Thanks for the suggestions...

I would have built my own, but I found a great deal on E-Bay.

    Again, Thanks for the help.

Same here... well, I'm almost done, just need to carpet it. Holds 2 12"s with a smidge over 1.5cu. ft. per side.
