In the past I always just cut a HUGE board the same shape as the carpet in the trunk of the veichle I was installing this in. This would give me a more secure and thicker trunk board to mount other wood to (and carpet) to secure amps & such. However to cut down on weight, I want to know how you guys mount say 1 board to the trunk bed that is only 1/3 the size of the trunk bottom.. Do you guys just drill into the metal? L brackets or something.. weld? LOL duct tape!?? I cant figure how you profesionals secure this crap...
