    Forester Cup Holder

Let me preface: I did a search!

O.K. now that that's out of the way, I want to put the forester cup holder in the rear part of the console of my 02 WRX.
What year Foresters do they come out of, and can I get it cheaper than 44.00 from my nearest dealer?

Ask Jamie at AllSubaru.com...that's where I got mine, but it was for $40 and color-matched...

Does it work fine? Was the install as easy as it seems?

Yeah, they're hand-painted by Jamie herself I think...haha. She even paints the inside of them too. It works great and the install is definitely as easy as it seems.

I'm reviving this thread, that rear cup holder is just about worthless unless you are driving perfectly straight. The holder part is so low that any turnmakes the cup tip over and out.
    (it's still cool though )

You're correct - If you put a water bottle or a cup that fits fairly tightly in the holder, there are no problems., but if you put something smaller in there, the holder is not deep enough to hold it around corners!!
