Little rattle in the passenger side?

I have a very slight rattle comming from my passenger side down in what seems the kick pannel area. It's hard to tell because I have never ridden over there , but I was wondering if there is a common rattle in that area or close to it?

    Thanks,

    Eric

Let me first preface this response by saying I am a moron. I had the same rattle until I noticed I had put a CD in the right door storage compartment. It was rattling like crazy and pissing me off for a week before I discovered it and felt pretty dumb. Just a thought.

Yep when I hear the right note from my speakers it does its little rattle. I wish I could track it down, because when you have radio off you can really hear it on little bumps.

    To answer your original question...

After 3-4 months, I'm developing that evil rattle that everyone talks about. Here's a link that'll describe everything, because I sure as hell can't...

This MIGHT be the problem, just next time you hear it, try and get an EXACT location...cus I wouldn't have known where it was unless I read this before I heard it.

I have this rattle by my passenger side speaker area as well. On certain bass frequencies it rattles. At first I thought it was the speaker distorting, but it isn't. I'm very tempted to take the door skin off and hit it up with some dynamat or something... little extreme, but I spent too much money on my stereo for it to sound bad...

It's not the speakers. There's something in the door. I had my speakers replaced with some Infinti's and the rattle got SO bad when the bass was turned up that I went back to Audio King and got them to fix it. I'm not entirely sure what they did, but it's in the right-hand door and it can be fixed since they fixed mine.

Well, this seems to be a common problem...

Yeah, the rattle for me is way worse now that I've got my Infinities. Hopefully someone knows where this rattle is comming form. I've pulled my door panel off and culdn't locate anything that would cause the problem.

Ok, so I used silicon adhesive to secure all the white clips that hold the door skin on (like in the link posted by RLsChMiDt) and that did absolutely nothing. So at least we know that's not the issue...

RLsChMiDt - Dynamat does equal weight, but I really don't race my car and truly think that it is worth it for someone who loves music... It made my system sound 10x better just by dynamatting the front doors... also gave my doors a nicer feel and quieted road noise (enough that I'm considering dynamat for the entire floor too)...matter of preference tho....

    My system:
6.5" Polk/MOMO componenets in the front
4" JLAudio XR Coax in the rear
    Alpine CDA-7894 HU
2 x 10" Polk/MOMO Subs in trunk (Next week.. more rattles)
Dynamat on all 4 doors and trunk

I am sick of the noise... I ordered 12 sq ft. of b-quiet (similar to dynamat) and will be installing this weekend.

I have read the various posts on how to install the dynamat...

MidKnight, do you have any specific tips on how you used your dynamat to kill the passenger door rattle?

    Thanks!
