I tried removing my rear deck the other day, but didnt have enough time to do it once i actually saw how much work it required. I think i remember pretty much everythign that you have to do though...
First you have to remove the rear seats
next you have to remove the trim from both rear support columns
then you have to remove some bolts that hold the seatbelts in place
now you have to remove some bolts that hold the rear deck down

I think that is all....but looked to me like that would take about 3 hours or more, cuz you have to take out all the plastic trim starting at the front of the car to get it out in the back because it is all layered on top of each other... I kind of remember seeing somethign else that looked like it would be a ***** to do, but i cant exctly remember. I plan on doing it tomorrow or sometime soon. ill be sure to post an update when i do it, and possibly pictures.

    Getting seat belt anchors off...

Yeah, it looks like you have to get the rear seat belt anchors off in order to remove the rear panels on either side of the rear window. I have no idea how to get the anchors off though... I studied it for a while and still no ideas.

I madly need to get my rear deck out too, too much vibrating.....
