Does anyone have a Greddy Universal Pillar Gauge Pod??

since this is universal, i was wondering how the fitment is on a WRX. Vivid Racing had a little writeup about it saying it fit well, but for a perfect fit you would need to heat it up or sand the edges... just wanted someone elses opinion. its only $20 and i'm looking for a good place to put my single 52mm gauge.
if anyone knows of any other single pillar pods, please le me know. thanks...

I purchased the Greddy universal single pod a couple months back. It did not fit well to the WRX's A-pillar at all. The WRX's A-pillar is much thinner and the Greddy pod's concaveness* (i think that's a word) is alot wider. Also, this thing is huge for a single pod......takes up a little less than half the A-pillar. I ended up returning it.

Bottom line is........it would take ALOT of heating and sanding to make it fit right. Also please note that i am very picky about how my car interior/exterior looks.

If you like shaping and sanding stuff, it would be a pretty cool project........and why not give it a shot, like you said its only $20. The only way to see if you like it is to order it and if you dont think you could make it fit right........just return it.
