I had Kenwood 6.5" three-ways before, which worked really well (my old car).
They are on sale at Car Toys for $60 which I think is pretty good considering they sounded the best of any I listened to in there.
Would I be able to add a tweeter in the door (stock location) later if I needed/wanted to?
You could add a crossover and put some tweeters in there if you wanted to. Call my cell...

Like Tan said, alpine makes really good stuff. I always recommend those alpines to my customers when they want a good midpriced pair of 6 1/2"s

i dont get where everyone is getting 6.5" for our front doors? Thought they were 5 1/4"
5 1/4" for the rears
6.5" for the fronts.
