    Question STi shifter knob question

I have the titanium sti knob the flat one that the dealers install. It wasn't listed on the sticker price though, come to think of it my car didn't have a addendum (where they put all the dealer addon stuff) on it and the sales guy made no mention of it during the price negotiation. Isn't that thing like a $123 dealer option? Doesn't that little square badge that shows the shift pattern come with the knob since it doesn't have it on there anymore? Also, my shifter looks alittle shorter than the others I was noticed at the dealership yesterday anyway to find out for sure if I have the short shift kit? Hey maybe they forgot to put these things on the options list when my car came in.

Mine had the STi performance muffler on it with no second sticker.

    It's worth like $800-900.

    (and sounds GREAT)

I got the free shift knob too, but I payed for the SS. I don't think dealers really care about them.

I doubt if the dealer gives anything away for free. Go to www.kbb.com and look up your car. Take the invoice price + destination charges and add anything that didn't come std with the car. Take that invoice number and compare it to what you paid. That will tell you how much over invoice you paid and maybe if they charged you for the shifter. They had to hide the price in there somewhere. I had the dealer show me the invoice on the car and compared it to kbb.com. It was exact. I only paid $100 over the invoice price. Hope that helps.
