    Boost Readings?

    Is the boost gauge supposed to read 0 at idle?

    Yeah. When you're at idle, so is the turbo. When you are at normal speed, look down and you'll see that it's actually below 0. That's because it's creating a vaccuum, like in a N/A car. In no way am I a mechanic, but that's my take on what happens at low speeds.

    uh oh...

    When i'm at idle my gauge reads around 536mmhg????

    Is there something wrong?

    I just installed greddy boost gauge.

    Oh. LOL!!! I'm not 100% sure. I really never have paid attention to my boost gauge while at idle. It's prolly okay. Tell me, when you go to WOT, does the boost go up to the correct level?

    Boost gauge at idle will be below 0. That is normal.

    When you shut the car off it should read 0.

    When you are cruising at constant speed on flat ground, it usually should read right around 0.

    no, you should be in vacuum at idle. you should be at zero if the car is off.
