Ok, so I think for my next mod (read cash blowout) will be upgrading to a double din DVD screen/player.
I already have 2 in mind already...but narrowing it down to the perfect one is harder than I have anticipated. The Alpine IVA-W205 coupled with the Blackbird PMD-B200 for the Dock'n'roll setup or the Pioneer AVIC-Z2. These are both great looking products that do pretty much the same things, so herein lies my problem. I know pretty much squat about stereos, power stuff, wires, etc., so asking me about bit rates and stuff will make my head explode (kidding).
From what I hear Alpine is a great, trusted name...but I have never heard something bad about Pioneer.

Which would you choose?
...if it matters, later on, I would most likely be going with a single 12" Crossfire sub and amp, and possibly a set of Focal door speakers...

I won't buy another pioneer product...
They had four tries to fix my "top of the line" tape player in the 90's, and failed.
Granted, that was ten years ago...but that's where I stand.
