This is a discussion on OBD II Tools/Monitors? within the Interior Mods forums, part of the Tech & Modifying & General Repairs category; I'm a relative noob, so I'm coming late to the party - please excuse me if this has been discussed ...
I'm a relative noob, so I'm coming late to the party - please excuse me if this has been discussed to death.
I'm looking for something to monitor and log information from the OBD II connector, boost being the most important parameter. I've looked at the GReddy Informeter, Scangauge (I don't think it reads boost), Nitrod and MSD Dashhawk. Are there any others that I've missed and should take a look at? Are there any that I should definitely avoid?
I've seen some good information on the GReddy on this forum - it seems that the only thing that I wouldn't like about it is that it diplays boost in bar instead of PSI.
Thanks, any information would be greatly appreciated.

Pick up a tactrix and openecu and data log it. If you are just looking to do something like that you can pick up a cheap used laptop and a tactrix cable for 80 bucks.
