There is really no room on the 06's. That damn air pump line runs right beside the galley plug. Behind the alternator was 100% easier.

Oh and to answer your question about the autometer part #, I didn't need and additional parts because the Defi sender has 1/8 BSPT thread just like the factory galley plug. If your sender has 1/8 NPT thread you will need a 1/8BSPT male ----->1/8 NPT female adapter

Well if the guy says it doesnt through a CEL and its way easyer why not. i mean why would you need your car to illuminate an oil light when you have a gauge you can read exact numbers with. ...

Like others have said, there is NO room on 06+. Its different, believe me. I had to remote mount my sender with some copper tubing.

What about using a 1/8BSPT 'T' and mount both?

I guess you could do that, but why would you want to bother. The factory low oil pressure light doesn't come on til it's too late anyway. A gauge is much more precise. Especially if you have the Defi's with the warning LED and warning buzzer.

the subaru adapter is 1/8" BSPT and the gauge sender is probably 1/8" NPT... i had the same problem, if only there was one pipe thread... drilled out the center and tapped my own 1/8" BSPT, it was close but it seals perfect
