Need advice on nav unit and cabling

I have an escort passport and plan on getting the avic d3. Now I have my escort center of the windshield, which will be in the way of the d3. Does anybody have any recommendation where I can run the cable so its not in front of the d3? Also will I be able to run the ipod cable from the back of the d3 through the back of the glove box? just so you guys know I have an 06 wrx limited.

i dont know how long the cable for the ipod is but you can do it if its long enough.

if your not movin your escort from car to car, i would suggest a hardwire. a lot cleaner and prof setup IMO

im doing the same thing in my sti and heres how you do it...

mount the escort on the left of the dash.
WHere the escort plugs into your cig. lighter.. grab the wire and run it under the flap by your stick shift. you can zip ty it in the corner on the metal peice right where your right shin will be..then run the wire above where your both of your shins would be. then there is a perfect trail area to run the wire from over your shins (would be under the steering wheel place and fuse holder)..along the left of YOUR drivers side AC all the way to the escort.

THERE is more than enough wire from the escort to reach!
i will post pics if you are c0nfused just let me kno.
it still performs like it did in the center..
it looks so clean and is teh sh!t if ya get it to look right.
