extend your cupholder, remove two screws, pull out cup holder.

begin to nicely and gently pull the plastci trim off. just pull slowly and it will come off, then upscrew 6 screws to remove the radio.

The cup holder will be kinda of a pain in the ass to get back in again though.

i never took out my cupholder to get my radio out. it does make a little more room to work around of getting the trim piece out, but i just extend the cupholder out to get my fingers inbetween it and the trim.
lightly modded with a hint of audiophile

I tried that first but felt i was gonna break the trim! So i chickened out and removed the cupholder first.

And if you are gonna upgrade speakers, do not try to pry the trim pieces around the door handle, just do what everyone else says and start pulling the door panel off and it will pop off without breaking! Speaking from experience, as i have to now replace my driverside trim panel.
