Hey guys i was wondering how to take a 2.0L WRX 02 sedan dash apart.I plan to take the cluster out and changing the bulbs to new painted ones so that they look blue at night.Have you guys done this before?how should i do it?heres a writeup for ahonda civic so idk if its the same bulb for the WRX http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread/661308 THANKS IN ADVANCE

look over on scooby mods a guy over there did a great write up on chaning the color of the gauge cluster and you don't need to tear apart the dash I believe

There is no way to change the color without taking out the cluster.....and even then you cant just change the bulbs because the face of the gauages has a green film on them.....

yea but you don't have to disassemble the dash to get the cluster out

on the tutorial it calls for some light sanding to remove the green film then putting colored bulb condoms over the bulbs and then you can get whatever color you want, I am going red when I get a chance to do it have already done my radio and HVAC

Yea i see what your saying....the dash doesnt need to be removed.....simply just the cluster....the link i posted mentions just removing the cluster so hopefully the OP gets the idea

at least half a dozen

it is MUCH easier than that on a wrx
