    Mounting an AP

Not sure if this would belong in "engine management" or "cockpit and cabin" so I put it here.

I was just wondering if anyone has mounted their Cobb Accessport v.1 in their wrx (preferably 02-04 interior). I want to do this, but I am having trouble thinking of a good spot to put it where it is visible and can be steadily mounted and not get in the way of other stuff.
Secondly, seeing as the temps can get pretty hot in the summer (90's) and pretty cold in the winter (minus 0) will the AP be affected by either of these temperatures if left out, mounted in the interior?

Pics of your setup would be GREATLY appreciated.

===>Cockpit and Cabin. Perhaps someone there will have an example of what you're looking for.

DTR rex, I suppose the greatest challenge would be working with the ODB-II cable.

I thought about doing this and putting the AP at the base of the driver's A pillar and you can pop the OBII port through the back of the dash so the connectors don't stick out the front

I thought about mounting the AP v2.0 to the left of the clock up on the dash. Have no clue what I would use yet, thought about modifying a cellphone/PDA holder...

If I would have mounted it I would have made a custom holder out of steel or aluminum

Please dont ban me for sick humor.

I was so happy to recieve my AP V2 that I have been mounting it ever since.
I have only mounted it a couple times in the car, mostly I mount it in my bedroom, bathroom or while looking at tuner chicks on the internet. I find if I lube it up nicely , it makes a great fifi and if I wrap the cable up around my arse like a thong I can give it a tug or two while I am mounting for increased sensitivity. I wish it had a screensaver function so I could put some knarly babes on it to look at while doin the mount. I love my AP. Stage 2 06WRX
