Hey fellow Scooby owners, this weekend i actually did over my entire stock stereo , and was ashamed of what subaru considers quality speakers. The cones on the speakers were made of plastic and poor quality if you ask me. But i guess when you are concerned about making a fast great handling car, the last thing you worry about is a great stereo.
Well, enough about their poor stereo, I installed a custom 12inch box from ebay, and put in 2 Polk Audio subwwofers, a Kenwood DDX6019 head unit, Infinity 6012si speakers for the doors, and 2 eclipse amplifiers 200x4 for the door speakers and 2000 watts for the subs. Let me tell ya, i love the sound......, ill make sure to post some pics later this afternoon of the setup. Sorry but didnt do pictures of the installation, figured its been done before.
